From Greenview Funeral Home, Florence: Betty McCormack Terry, age 88 of Florence, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Neil Rogers and Christopher Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Lena Mae McCormack; an infant sister, Judy Gail; and brother, Jimmy (Carolyn) McCormack.
She is survived by her husband, Paris Terry. August 27th would have been their 70th anniversary; they were sweethearts for 73 years; son, Dan (Sarah) of Russellville; daughter, Belinda Holt (Tim) of Florence; grandchildren, Stephanie Terry Rogers (Neil) of Russellville, Christopher Holt (Tiffany) of Florence, and Tiffany Terry of Russellville; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Griffin Rogers and Grace Ann and Jackson Holt; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friends that were always checking on her, Pat Weaver, Carolyn Austin, Geraldine Hanback, and Marjorie Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be Tim Holt, Christopher Holt, Neil Rogers, Gary Terry, Tommy Smith, and Mike Nelson.
