The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:32 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, has claimed the life of an Ocala, Fla. woman.
Patrica A. Mannone, 82, was critically injured when the 2020 Toyota Camry that she was driving was struck by the 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Tammi T. Yarbrough, 54, of Town Creek. Mannone was transported to North Alabama Medical Center in Florence where she succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Yarbrough and a passenger in the Toyota, Tracy A. George, 53, also of Ocala, Fla., were both injured and transported to local area hospitals for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 32 mile marker, approximately four miles east of Muscle Shoals, in Colbert County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
