The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:33 am on Thursday, July 27th has claimed the life of a Red Bay man.
Reese B. Dulaney, 31, was critically injured when the 2018 Ford Raptor pickup that he was driving was struck by a 1987 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Christopher R. Peoples of Russellville. Dulaney was transported to Red Bay Hospital in Red Bay, where he succumbed to injuries sustained and was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred on Alabama 24 near the 5 mile marker, approximately two miles east of Red Bay, in Franklin County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
