The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday, July 22nd, Deputy Tyler Declue and Corporal Josia Tukua conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 157 just north of Underwood. It was determined that the driver, Timothy Nolen, had a revoked license, so the vehicle was to be impounded per policy.
During the inventory of the vehicle, Nolen made several references to being hungry and just wanting to eat his hamburger. Unfortunately, the burger contained more than lettuce and pickles. Deputies retrieved a small bag of Methamphetamine.
Timothy Don Nolen, age 45 of Killen was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving while Revoked, and Switched Tag.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.
