From Greenview Funeral Home, Florence: Nadine B. Long, age 95 of Florence, died August 8, 2023 after an extended illness. She was born June 5, 1928 to Robert Newton Long and Martha Ann Irwin Long of Waynesboro, TN.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Greenview Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2PM prior to the service. Brother Stan Dean and Jordan Hamner will officiate the service. The interment will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Ms. Long was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Garland Long, Sr. of Florence, Alabama, and Grover Curtis Long of Milton, Florida; her niece, Kay Smith of Jacksonville, Florida.
She is survived by her special friend of 67 years, Shirley Johnson; nieces, Margaret Ann Mulford of Jacksonville, Florida, Peggy Sue Mills of Idaho, Carol (Dickie) Sanderson of Florence, Alabama; nephew, Bobby (Sue) Long of Florence, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradley Warble and Gene Wesson.
