From Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia: Reba Gail Thomas Lawler, age 78 of Muscle Shoals, passed away August 20, 2023.
Reba is preceded in death by her husband Delton “Peanut” Lawler; parents, Virgil and Myrtie May Thomas; brother, Lecil Thomas (Tommie Jane); and sister Betty Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Thacker (Bret); daughter, Tammy Johnson; son, Charles Lawler (Molly); grandchildren, Kimber Peebles (Corey), Dustin Lawler (Elle), Jacob Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Collin Lawler, Jaxson Lawler, and Maci Lawler; great grandchildren Audrey Peebles, Amelia Peebles, Gatlin Lawler and Londyn Lawler; Sisters, Carolyn Thomas; Judy Thomas; also, a very special relationship with her niece, Candy Dodson.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia. Service will immediately follow in the chapel and a graveside service will be held following. Reba will be laid to rest beside her husband of 54 years in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charles Lawler, Dustin Lawler, Collin Lawler, Jaxson Lawler, Corey Peebles, and Bret Thacker.
