On Monday, August 5th, the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Board of Education, EMA, and other first responders, will be conducting an active shooter training scenario at Colbert Heights High School. The training exercise will begin at approximately 8:00 am.
There will be an abundance of emergency personnel at the high school, so please do not be alarmed. This is an effort to ensure the safety of our children in the event of an active shooter. Thank you for your cooperation and patience in advance. – Sheriff Eric Balentine
